“When our 6 day old van was involved in an accident we tried to prepare ourselves for an uphill battle trying to get it back on the road as quickly as possible as all the equipment we need to operate our business is fixed permanently in the vehicle and we are unable to carry on our business without it. When we insisted that the vehicle was brought to yourselves it was because you were the Mercedes recognised Repairer, we didn’t realise that you would make such supreme efforts on our behalf.
When the recovery truck arrived at your premises it became clear we wouldn’t get public transport back to Windermere to collect our young son from nursery, Louise quickly took charge of the situation and personally drove us home, it is rare to experience such compassion and efficiency nowadays. This was only the start, the very next day you prepared the estimate and ordered the parts and only 7 days later we were back in business with the repairs completed to a standard way beyond our expectations, indeed in every aspect of our dealings with you, you have not only exceeded our expectations but been a pleasure to deal with. It is very clear that the energy and commitment of yourselves and your team coupled with an understanding situation made this happen. I will have no hesitation in entrusting you with repairs of any of our vehicles and will recommend you to everyone who is in need of your services.”

“In December last year I bought a used 730 which we have been very pleased with. Unfortunately despite the car running well we have not been so lucky and have had to have repairs undertaken to the body work due to on one occasion somebody bumping into the side in a car park and more recently the garage door hitting the driver’s side door due to a gust of wind.
On both occasions the repairs have been carried out by Gaskell Motorbodies and they have provided an excellent service at a reasonable cost. I recently went to the workshop and had a look around and it is clear that they have invested a lot of capital not only in the workshop which is very modern but in the spray booths ect.”

“Tuesday this week I dented the near-side bumper, Gaskell’s in Great Harwood was referred as an excellent provider. I therefore drove directly to Gaskells and Nick Gaskell he gave me a written estimate for repair, checked that the parts were available for delivery and made an appointment for me to take my car in for repair at 9am today. All this took about half an hour – very impressive.
In the meantime when I got home I decided to claim the repair through my insurance company, which was contrary to what I had told Nick and Louise Gaskell, as I originally thought that I would pay for the repair myself. This didn’t prove to be a problem when I spoke to Louise and she proved to be very efficient and organised, sending several fax messages to the insurance company, keeping me informed of the outcome. My car was repaired, washed down and ready to drive away in under an hour looking good as new. I had also been served a very nice cup of coffee, not from a machine, and I am just so impressed with this company I had to tell you about it.”
