Our Awards
In 2004, 2006 and 2007 Gaskell Motorbodies were nominated for Small Bodyshop of the year at the Bodyshop Magazine Industry Awards. Gaskell's won the 2008 awards!
A Lancashire based crash repair company has won the coveted ‘Best Small Bodyshop of the Year’ Award in a national competition organised by the industry’s highly respected Bodyshop Magazine.
And winners, Gaskell Motor Bodies of Great Harwood, also received the personal congratulations of safety campaigner John Dwyer, who has been pressing the crash repair industry and politicians to raise standards across the industry.
“I am delighted at the success of Gaskells because they are a business that operates from the ethos that passenger safety must always come first,” said Mr Dwyer, a former assistance chief constable of Cheshire Police.
“I applaud their achievement because their success will set an example for others in the industry to follow. My campaign has been about raising the bar in a sector that is vitally important to anyone who drives or travels in a motor vehicle.”
Nick Gaskell, Managing Director of the family-owned business, said: “We are very proud of our achievement. The award reflects our company’s commitment to our customers, staff and continual investment in the business.”
The fiercely contested Bodyshop Magazine Awards cover all aspects of the vehicle repair industry from painters and panel technicians through to insurance companies and training providers.
Nick Gaskell was particularly pleased to have scooped the Small Bodyshop accolade after the business had twice gained runner up status in the 2003 and 2006 competitions.
He added: “The award recognises that we offer the highest level of service and repair at competitive prices using state-of-the-art equipment and repair techniques.”
